Adcom Repair
We are a factory authorized repair center for the Adcom product line.
We are familiar with the full line of Adcom amplifiers and home theater
products, as well as having years of experience repairing the classics,
such as the GFA-555, GFA-565, and GFA-585. We understand the capacitor
leakage problems that some of the older amplifiers have experienced,
and we have the expertise to repair them properly. One cannot simply
replace the leaking capacitors on these amplifiers and expect the amplifier
to meet spec’s. The circuit boards must be removed and cleaned
properly in order to assure a successful and lasting repair.
We also have the correct equipment to repair and align the Adcom tuners to perform properly, and to assure they meet factory spec’s. We are aware of the problems the older tuner-preamps had with intermittent sensitivity problems and maintain an inventory of the correct parts necessary for repair.
